Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Depot Engineer based in Swindon. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of power generation equipment, ensuring our customers have access to the electricity, heating and cooling solutions they depend on.

What you’ll do as a Depot Engineer:
- Carry out maintenance, repairs and overhauls on generators and associated equipment, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, to the required standard and within budget.
- Test, inspect and evaluate refurbished and repaired equipment, documenting results and producing reports in line with ISO standards.
- Maintain stock levels, tools and workshop resources, while investigating and reporting component failures to support equipment reliability.
- Support team capability by sharing knowledge, assisting service crews and contributing to a high-performance, safety-first working environment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, quality standards and workshop operational requirements.
You are:
- NVQ Level 3 qualified (or equivalent) in a mechanical or engineering discipline, including completion of a relevant apprenticeship.
- Experienced in servicing and repairing large engines, such as generators, plant equipment, HGVs, LGVs, PCVs, agricultural machinery or forklift trucks.
- Organised with strong communication skills and the ability to manage workloads effectively.
- Comfortable using PC-based systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Committed to high standards of safety, quality and equipment reliability.
