Production Operator

We are looking for a Production Operator to join our Made To Order (MTO) / Logistics department and play a critical role in supporting a wide range of activities for the production process; including packaging, cleaning, formulation, and material movement. This job opening is offered on fixed term basis for 3 months.

What you’ll do:

• Calculate, weigh, and charge raw materials.  Operate all processing equipment including blenders, mixers, mills, dryers, etc. Follow all operating procedures written and verbal.
• Weigh and label finished products, complete all production documentation.
• Perform in-process quality analysis tests.  
• Clean equipment and work area per standardized procedures.

What you’ll bring:

• Ability to operate and maintain equipment according to safety, environmental and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
• Ability to work in an environment that is not climate controlled.  Color and dust particles may be present in the air or throughout the facility.  Allergens may be present in the air.
• Forklift licence

• High School qualifications in Maths, English, demonstrating good literacy and arithmetic. 

       (Prior manufacturing experience preferred).

Shift pattern- 7:00 -15:00, Monday to Friday,
