Role Overview
As the Service Sales Manager for the UK market, you will play a key role in driving the growth of Fluence’s Services business by strengthening customer relationships, maximizing value within existing contracts, and supporting the development of new commercial opportunities. You will lead engagements across upsell initiatives, change orders, and extended service scopes, ensuring that customers receive high‑quality support and that Fluence continues to deliver exceptional long‑term value.
This is an impactful, cross‑functional role requiring technical understanding, commercial acumen, and strong customer‑facing capabilities. The position will involve travel across EMEA to meet with customers, partners, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Drive upsell initiatives under existing or extending Long Term Services Agreements by coordinating amongst the Services team and the customer, wrapping it into a proposal
Drive change orders, augmentation or decommissioning requests from customers by coordinating internally with the various teams who should be involved, as well as managing expectations with the customer
Working with subcontractors, vendors and suppliers on Services scope elements that Fluence needs to subcontract for in its fulfillment of their LTSA’s or incorporating into an existing offer with an extended Services scope.
Develop a deep understanding of energy storage Services and pricing and provide sales teams with Services expertise and guidance to win new deals and maximizing the value to their customers
Lead technical and or commercial aspects of contract negotiations and work with Sales and other departments to negotiate services contracts
Driving Continuous improvements in sharing best practices, provide input to offer guidance, review offer or contract templates, update Services Sales processes and procedures
Ensure completeness of Contract handover from Sales to Services by storing information in the designated systems and provide executive summaries of the LTSA for Services Directors to help manage their LTSA’s
Travel throughout EMEA
Required Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s or Master degree in Maintenance Management, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy or similar technical discipline
At least three year’s relevant professional work experience in a Renewable Energy, Supply Chain or Maintenance Management environment
Relevant experience in Maintenance Management, Supply Chain tools and software, including CMMS & ERP
Being a structured and disciplined person with strong attention to detail and a process oriented mindset
Ability to oversee the Services landscape and close process or procedure gaps so that they drive maximised value for Fluence Services
Ability to understand technical problems and effectively translate that into a Workstream for resolution of these challenges
High level of ownership of tasks that drive Fluence business objectives
Strong co-ordination and communication skills
Effective in a highly collaborative yet informally structured work environment
Fluent in written and spoken English
